Addis Abeba or Addis Ababa or Oddis Oboba is too far from the ancient Ethiopian civilisation of Aksum, an Empire that ruled some parts of Asia and Africa. As history tells us, the world was divided between Aksum and Rome. Unfortunately The Aksumite Empire had to limit itself to Asia and Africa for a short period of time only. Rome ruled Europe and parts of Asia for a longer period.
Making the capital city of Ethiopia in Mekelle or Gonder is the right thing to do.
People enjoy from history by living in the part was world history been made.
Gonder is recent and might not be as interesting.
I think every one will agree to make Meqelle the capital city of Ethiopia for thousand and one reasons.
Meqelle is safe and is strategically located to control the trade and military development around the Middle East
