That is no lie. The evidence is on this forum. Instead of resorting to insults, you should be looking for it. Like I told you, go back to Justice Seeker's postings and you will find it. Now, regionalism is getting worse. Some Eritreans feel that the system favors a particular group over theirs. If the government is dominated by some particular group, then naturally, regionalism would intensify.

You seems to take regionalism extremely serious and is something that somehow has hold on you.

How things are run in Eritrea is the result of our predestined journey for the armed struggle for independence. And everyone in the power corridor in our country is not there by our choice but because of their dedication and contribution during the hard times of our struggle . But, unfortunately things are still as is, even after independence. Something that should not be the case by now.

When these are the real facts, to attribute the existing problems on regionalism and other irrelevant issues are really mind boggling.

Not only with the government but within the opposition parties. The lizard who calls himself Tesfatsion has began to draw followers from the government supporters using his regionalist poison. You can not over emphasize the destructive consequences of regionalism. Colonialists used it to our destruction, Now we are doing it to ourselves, The government is not helping either. My point is, democratize Eritrea, and make feel everyone a stake holder in owning Eritrea. Let us work for the interest of the Eritrean people not for the people who appointed themselves to be our guardians. While I am at it, we have something that is even greater. It is simmering underneath. It is far more dangerous. It is called the religious divide. Is religious divide under represented in the government, Don't ignore it. There are people who think their region is superior to others. Or there are people who think that people from other regions are favored by the government over others. All these types of thinking brings problems. Regionalism is backward. You see it more often in less developed countries. This thread is about eliminating regionalism all together. Take the USA. There are racial problems taking place from time to time. Slavery has taken toll over the African Americans. Can you imagine USA without democratic institutions in place. Slavery would be still going on. I am saying, to eradicate or lessen the impact or regionalism, full democratization of Eritrea is a must. With the present system, regionalism will get worse. People need to vent. I kind of feel you want to avoid this type of discussion altogether. The problem can not go on its own. It is an ugly problem that needs to be taken care of.

Now, Eritrea has been independent for the last 29 years. Did Eritrea have any election during this period. Did the Eritrean people have any say on their own government ? The same faces for three decades. Depopulated by more than a third. One of the poorest countries in the world. The youth is forced to develop other countries.
