Oromo politicians' and Activists' poor political performance have put Obbo Abiy inside the jaws of right wing extremists. They abondoned him in the middle of the battlefield and pushed him to the edge with no option for the laureate.
This time no one is responsible to be blamed for the loss or Oromos but Oromo politicians themselves.
That is my observation.

I disagree with EPDRF it is not “ poor performance” of the Oromo politicians and activists that “compelled” Abiy to be in the “ hands of right wing extremists.” This is a very tortured belief. Who are the “ right wing extremists “ Abiy was forced to be a member.? Is the right wing extremists spell “ temketegnas?”
The ethnic politicians and activists are losing now badly in Ethiopian politics. They try to paint a political picture that reads if Abiy chooses to be an ethnic politician everything will be ok. Abiy has no choice but to allay with Ethiopians who are tired of the ethnic politics pimps who sow discord among Ethiopians based on ethnic “ assumed “ differences.
Abiy has no choice but to be a leader Ethiopia. A leader of Ethiopia cannot be tribal in his politics.
To believe that Abiy could be tribal in his politics and will rule Ethiopia is the result of lacking in understanding Ethiopian politics.
Abiy is popular among Ethiopians because he acts as an Ethiopian leader. The moment he pivoted to be a tribal leader is the moment he signs his political death.
He will not sign it for two reasons. One, he is truly not tribal in his politics. Two, he learned in the last two years how tribal politicians disregard the interest of Ethiopia and Ethiopians to their sectarian advantage.
In the last two years Ethiopians were compelled wholeheartedly to hate ethnic politicians and their politics. Count the Prime Minister of Ethiopia among those millions.
