After arresting the main competition , Abiy is indicating that there will be an election within a year time! Does that mean he is no longer concerned about the Covid-19 which he used as an excuse to prolong the election indefinitely? Isaias did the same on the Badme issue, after making the "Badme handover" issue as a pre-condition for any reconcilation for 20 years , he declared the border issue is no more important when he made the secret deal with Abiy! For Isaias Badme is the wild card he uses for his political manipulation similar to how Abiy used the Covid-19 to delay the election.
