Rift developing between PFDJ and PP Oromia

Post by eden » 26 Jul 2020, 09:37

Daud Ibsa has become a source of mistrust and instability in the friendly relations between PFDJ and PP Oromia leaderships.

PFDJ military and security personnel tasked to play supportive roles mainly in Addis has overpplayed its hands and decided to jail OLF top leader. OLF is considered Oromo vanguard institution even by PP Oromia leaders and the rank and file.

In the few days that has passed, tension is growing between folks of President Isayas and PM Abiy on the ground. The recent release of Daud Ibsa within 24 hours of being jailed has confounded Analysts.

This could be the result of impatience from President Isayas as Mesfin Hagos, an EPLF veteran revered by the Eritrean people has mounted a growing opposition block that publicly says to work with next door TPLF, an organization with decades of experience in all facets of struggle and governing.

From Abiy side, the lack of leadership experience, heavy OLF infiltration of PP Oromia and the
economic boycott Qero just announced to start tomorrow are said to be the major factors for not going along with the speed Isayas is calculating to be necessary for his own self preservation which is not really PM Abiy's priority.

Good analysis and you heard Abiy shifted to woyane now without any shame. The biggest loser will be Issayas, Amhara ethnic, Abiy, all the Derg captives and all foreign mercenaries. This is what I have been criticizing Debretsion for his wishy washy stand for the last four years but now they resolute to confront them and the result shows before even started. My gut feeling is Abiy will abandoned Issayas and Issayas will be mad as a hell and switch his friendship with Woyane to get rid of Abiy and Issayas will demand woyane to give him access to the country and woyane controls with Oromia.

For whatever it was worth, you were more effective when working from the underground, pretending to be something else. Now that you started operating out in the open, you are getting to be less effective.
Why this change of strategy, why has underground digital woyane chosen to work out in the open representing itself?
Why sacrifice the nick "Eden" and force it to uncover itself?
Is this the beginning of the end?

Even if Isayas brings the ENTIRE ERITREA WITH HIM, Oromo's will NOT back down from their quest for self rule.
Without Oromo, ethiopia cannot sustain itself, but abiy became arrogant and forgot this; so he shall soon see.
targeting oromo leaders just inspires the oromos even more.

Halafi

I never took your post seriously but it appears PM Abiy is dancing with TPLF when he said there are forces that are hell bent on widening the PP TPLF wedge. Fwd to 7:32

I think he is responding to too much pressure from Isayas in removing Daud Ibsa which is causing him deep dissatisfaction within PP OROMIA
