The decision to release is already made. I created a thread here already.

This man was encouraged by Abiy to appear in public to call for release. This helps Abiy tell his fanatic supporters and president Isayas (who asked for Jawar's blood) he is releasing because of pressure from Ethiopians. Who knew it's easier to jail than release. Asmera visit is to tell Isayas to his face he must release political prosoners.

He suppose to be a spiritual leader and he didn't mention or prayed about 300 Ethipians who were killed in the most gruesome ways, not a single time,but he was angry why his buddy jawar was put behind prison. The Ethipian people blood and their destroyed life screams for justice this guy is the first " religious" leader who has a problem with Justice. His riligous clad and religious quote did not cover where he stands, obviously not with jawar victims,but with jawar and his genocidal keeros.

Nowadays in certain segment it is difficult to separate religion and politics. For some religion becomes a means to promote politics. For long Ethiopians have managed to keep separating religion from politics. And to some extent Ethiopian leaders abide by that understanding. It is only the rule of law which decides the fate of Jawar and company. letting him loose will drive Ethiopia to political unrest which she has not known before.
Abiy should not take advice from this guy. Religion should stand for the helpless who died because of who they are. Religion should stand for those whose property burned down to ashes because of who they are. It should not stand on behalf of those who caused misery to thousands of Ethiopians.
In fact, this religion leader should apologize to Ethiopians for writing the letter to the Prime Minister, By writing that letter he became part of the killing crowd.

Some how you have to mix Issayas in this so that it will help you ferment hate between Eritreans andOromos? Eritreans you can say what you want but lack of confidence is not one of it.
