Failure of leadership (incompetence)

Post by Afdeyu » 12 Jul 2020, 20:58

Abiys weak leadership failures is the root cause of all the upheaval in the country now. He needs to man up and deal with his enemies head on with whatever it takes, or sooner the tide will be turning against him and his sponsors will think that he’s more of liability than an asset and discard him... just like What they did to woyane.
His biggest failure is he spent his political capital for nothing the last two years, and now his base is shrinking by the day.
He needs to act fast against His enemies or he is not going to last long. Lately, he appears to be turning into a dictator with no base and that’s a recipe for disaster. :idea:

Abiy should have spent the last two and a half years uniting all the disparate groups that propelled him to power along a common middle-ground position. Instead he was seeking Isaias's advice on how to control, manipulate, harass, subjugate and liquidate opponents.

Sad to say this but our neighbour to the south has entered a very dangerous phase where great care is needed by its political elite.

@eripo
The problem is Abiy didn’t listen neither to Isaias’s advice Wholeheartedly of taking tplf out of the equation nor he didn’t build a bigger tent for all stakeholders to broaden his base. Langa-langa koynu and he’s losing his support from inside his country & outsiders who wished him success.
His window of opportunity is getting narrower by the day. He’s lost Tigre support the first month, Amhara support year one, Oromos support year two,...this guy’s turning to be another dictatorship with no public support & that’s unfortunate not only to Ethiopia, but for the whole neighborhood.
My fear is though typical Ethiopian regimes functions with the blessing of world powers and they might have already sensed his incompetence and started selecting the next horse to ride (Mebalietna yigbero)... interesting and scary times for our poor neighbors.
I personally think Isaias role is exaggerated in this crisis, he’s giving Abiy a breathing room By keeping woyane busy looking on both north and south, so that it doesn’t focus all on Abiy, but kilte gorahatsi hamukshti sinkom eyu koynu negeru ...this is more of internal power struggle for the direction of the country.
Niana gin more hinfishfish dehanna eyu For the long run peace and security.
