The reason most Ethiopians is ever since the 60s or in fact I should say 50s after Italian war, Haile Selassie was saying ok we ended colonization, now time for develop and education like today's Dr. Aby's PP, everyone set up for education and development, setting up factories, improving education system, clever British said the only way I would leave alone Ethiopia is by setting up my own school. Boy that was wrong, the students sent out for education, the missionary school, Winget school in Ethiopia were the place to recruit students against at first H. Selassie, then finally peaked until today that the agenda was after all to disintegrate the country. Every traitor students within and outside of Ethiopia literally got recruited and started the movement out of those: From Wingate school- Meles Zenawi (mind you, he was medical student in Wingate), Isayas Afewerki (the chosen leader against Ethiopia eventually), Haile Fida, Senay Like, many many known, these groups from Eritrea side like under the order of Isayas they set up Eprp with leaders like the nick named Jamaica, etc, they were recruiting Ethiopians all over the country and according to news in ER unfortunately if true it was in Wello the head quarter because Isayas was student there, his uncle was the governer of Wello. So these groups the prominent ones went ahead and formed various of parties against H.Selassie; Meison, Eprp, Derg, TPLF, Shabia, OLF Oh, there were also some within who wre secretive were also working against H.Selassie those were within the Derg. ALL movements what was at first against H Selassie supported by the same colonizers. Jebha by itself was also supported by Arabs but behind it is British. All those parties gave birth to mini movements and generations, we now know as of today, it was against Ethiopia itself.
What is my point: lazy Ethiopians because there is social media, just by observing what is in Ethiopia, they send out fake hope for a long time: "we are great, our fathers, ..." without lifting a finger. Ethiopians must work on the ground in order to claim everything ok. They need not form party but work towards implementing a good leadership in Ethiopia that works for the people and the country. I don't think even supporting PP is advisable because, who knows what it could turn to eventually after all, the PP party is a passed on EPRDF that was anti Ethiopia. We can't tell the nature of PP until down the road maybe 5-10 years. Personally I don't believe in election as if it is this guys, my turn to rule bla bla, it should be the true democratic constitution that should govern the country, the elected job should be following the constitution that the population set.
