The truth of the matter is Weyanne’s heroic reputation was mere false propaganda the Dedebit planners thought no one would debunk it.
Eritrean Press offered a $1,000 US Dollars to anyone to come up with a YouTube video showing the ጉረኛ (boastful) Dedebit ragtag militia fighting the mighty Derg army in a major war.
The Dedebit cadres and activists that have based their ‘Headquarter’ at EP recently, failed to come up with single video proof. In fact, the usually high number of Weyanne trolls in our site avoided the post like the plague.
EP has no problem with the gentleman on the picture. The innocent old man has been used as a propaganda tool by the devious and heartless Dedebits.
EP will continue to debunk the lies of Weyanne officials that have been chased away from 4 kilo by stone-throwing brave Oromo and Amhara youths.
But one thing is still puzzling us. How in the hell the Dedebit propaganda planners thought they would get away with silly bravado that is too extraordinary to be believed (pictured)?
They told the ምስኪን Tigray population in Tigrigna, "the old man [given the name 'ወያናይ'] captured a Derg flying helicopter and its armed crews single-handedly without a weapon." It is beggars belief.
