This is a disturbing news. If the TPLF leaders choose to kill Tigrean opposition leaders , it will be a call to civil war. The Tigrean opposition leaders are Ethiopians of Tigrean origin. It is totally insane to assume the Ethiopian federal government remains idle when fellow Ethiopians are assassinated because of political differences. I do believe the TPLF politicians know the consequences such action might entail, so they do not sign in on self suicide.

I agree with you that TPLF should be held accountable if they mastermind any murder of a citizen be it opposition or not. It is a crime. However, the Federal government is suspected of masterminding the murders of Generals Seare (having a former TPLF as a chief of staff being a potential security threat to the PM) and Gezae and Engineer Simegnew. It also harasses and jails members of the independent media for covering true stories that the PM may not like and credible opposition leaders who he may view as a threat to his power. What is your say about holding the Federal government accountable? In a country run by dictators impunity is the norm rather than rule of law.
