Opening an international air port and not allowing to run is sheer absurd and illegal.The flight time decreases by 25% if direct flight are arranged from Europe/Asia/USA to Mekelle City, Tigray, North Ethiopia. This is not a matter for private airplanes. Ethiopian Airlines should fly from Mekelle to Europe and vice versa.

We are afraid to fly to Addis Ababa, where there are serious attacks on Tigrean citizens flying from USA and Europe. Most travellers from USA and Europe are well educated and will not accept inhuman treatment of Tigrayans transiting via Addis Ababa.
