Well, here is my take. I do not remember there was ever an election in Ethiopia except one. That was in 2005. However, in the aftermath of that election hundreds of young kids gunned down in the streets of Addis following an order given by the late prime minister. Ato, Seye, the late President of Somalia , Siad Barre , used to have an election in which 99.6 percent of Somalis used to vote for him. The TPLF politicians outsmarted the guy.
It is childish argument to imply that the TPLF politicians love election , but Abiy detests it. There are no facts to back up both assumptions.
