Sudan was betrayed by Meshrefet, it is now retaliating. He ignored Sudan and went to Egypt to give his infamous "welahi oath" to Al sisi. Meles GERD was backstabbed by the inferior ye lemagne zer illiterate meshrefet raised by weyane to serve it as its water carrier.

Everything in life is about intent!

So of course, whatever this dimunitive demon has concieved is bound to end in utter failure. His intent was not to build the dam for the benefit of Ethiopia or Ethiopians; a country & people he loathed, but as a: "I will show ya" attitude towards Egypt. On the surface though, it looks obviously good that Ethiopia builds a dam.

That's the only legacy of him left standing, & we shall see how this drama will end. The US & the Arab League have already chosen to stand by Egypt, on this one. I'm actually very surprised, the Ethiopians haven't dug up his grave yet & fed his bones to hyenas.

As for genuine Eritreans, we could care less about this issue one way or the other!

Ethiopia has every right to build its dams on its soil. Egypt can't go by colonial treaties of the 1930s. These are outdated. Ethiopia should stand its ground against Egypt.

Awash u have the right not to support the dam.. but the dam doesnt belong to Dr.Abiy... if the dam finished Eritrea will get cheap power .. as of now Eritrea use oil to fire up gas power station which is much costly then Ethiopian water power ... as of now Djibouti get power from Ethiopia so to Sudan .. all Eritrean power need would be supplied from Ethiopia for free.. if u love Eritrea then u should think twice.. how come Eritrea get free power easy for payment for Assab port use or Massawa port use Eritrean will get their free power or barter with their port service

Withdrawing my support means the dam is in deep trouble. As an avid follower of the dam project , supporter of the dam and strong opponent of the Arab master of wedi komarit medhin, Egypt, to now be indifferent or unsympathetic to the dam means a serious blow to Abiy Ahmed's leadership.
The fact that he would stoop to the level of evicting refugees from their camp just to satisfy the butcher of Asmara show how morally compromised and unprincipled Abiy has become. This is very difficult for Awash to stand with Abiy on this GERD dispute with Egypt.
