It seems that this video is from the time when Tigray was considered one of the most destitute regions, even relative to the poor over all condition in the country, and the younth of those days had no other options of perspectives than join in and die while fighting against the power they were told is the cause of their misery. For them it didn't make any much a difference if they were to die while fighting against the power they were told was the cause of their state of being or die from the conditions on the ground in reality.

It is more or less the same as today's Ethiopian youth that is left without any other option other than try to leave the country to reach somewhere else and there by die or reach their final destination on the route.


Today is different. Tigray is a relatively better to do regions in the country and many youth know what they can achieve a better life if they work hard and they have the opportunity to change their lives without any need to wage a war against anyone. They can join a university and gain education and have an opportunity to change themselves, only if they can work hard, no need to carry guns around and cut short their dreams.

Yes, DTT you nailed it. Today the Tigray youth has a relatively better life than youths of other ethnic groups. Million of a “Kebero” drumming will not move hundreds let alone thousands young Tigreans to raise arms against — against whom would be this time ? Is Tigraiy Etiyopiyan or an independent State that is not governed by Etiyopiyan laws? Answer that question.

Ethiopia’s parliament passed a new election law on Saturday 24 August ahead of the May 2020 national elections.

And the Election and Parties laws are as follows: http://almariam.com/wp-content/uploads/ ... 2-2019.pdf That is the law of Etiyopiya, and the Tigraiy leadership need not dismiss such a fundamental law instantly. It is better for TPLF to take some period of reasonable time and dialogue with the National/Federal Government of Etiyopiya. It is better to take time to dialogue and resolve differences peacefully/legally than rushing to giving a 30 seconds response to a complex matter and ending up into violence or war among Etiyopiyans, I think.

ምን አንቀለቀለው ምርጫ ምርጫ ብሎ አራዳ መሆኑ ነው ወይ ። ህውሕት ፴ ዓመት መግዛቱ አላበቃም ። ምርጫ ምርጫ ብሎ እራሱን መልሶ ሊሾም ነው ወይ። አዋ ድብርዬ ሳያስጠጣ አንዴ ብቻ ነው የተመረጥኩት ሊል ይችላል። ግን ለመተማመን ሲባል ስልጣኑን ለሌላ ካላስረከበ በምኑ ነው የምናምነው። እኔ ደብረ ጥሩ መርቶዋል ። ግን ወርቃማው ሕዝብ ከዚህ በላይ ሕዋትን መሽከም የሚችል አይመስለኝም። ምን ምርጫ ተለናለህ ሂድ ጥፋ ከፊታችን ብለው ያባሩሩታል። ማን ምርጫ አርግ አለው ለምን ስልጣን አያስረክብም።። ለሱ ስልጣን ላይ እንደገና ሊወጣ ለምን ይህንን ወርቃማ ሕዝብ በበሽታ ይጨርሰዋል። ከፈለግ ስልጣኑን እናራዝመለታልን በሽታው ሲያልፍ ውልቅ ብሎ የሚሄድ ከሆነ።
