The Ethiopian central government respected international law. TPLF does not represent the Tigrayan people. You should know that better. Ethiopians and Kenyans are not the same blood just because they share one Ethnic group on both sides of the border. The same goes for Eritreans and Tigrayans. Dr. Abiy broke an impasse on favor of the international law. You are nothing but an opportunist who lacks respect for ethnic diversity. Eritrea is more than the tigrigna speakers as Ethiopia is more than the Oromo or amhara speakers. Respect diversity.

I think Jawar got it wrong. Eritrea is a country. Isayes should strive to have healthy relationship with neighboring countries. Ethiopia is one of them. He is doing fine thank you very much.
Besides, it is a common knowledge now Isayes detests ethnic politics. He might rightly believe it destabilizes and leads to the disintegration of Ethiopia. That might not be a good thing to Eritrea. The spillover of the crises might overwhelm Eritrea, if thousands will be forced to crossover border for safety.
Besides, when it comes to foreign policy only the federal government has political power.
One thing that got my attention during the interview is Jawar’s twist of history to rationalize his half-baked theory. He keeps saying the Abiy administration is a transitional government. If we believe the Abiy administration is a transitional government, we be forced to believe the Hailemariam government was transitional. It was not. Abiy came to power practically by COUP D’ ETAT. He did not do it by himself. The majority of the former EPDRF members staged the coup against the TPLF powerhouse, and chose Abiy to be a prime minister. If you hear Jawar though you might think to believe he single handily put Abiy in power. The guy has something of a self-worshiping problem. That is no good.
He said if we choose so we are expert in making civil unrest. He reminded me the old general Seye, who barricaded not in Mekele , but USA. He once said we TPLFites know how to make war. But Jawar is lying. The political force that allows Querro to flourish is no longer there. It is a different Oromia we have now. The great majority of Oromos seem to be on Abiy side. That is not good news to Jawar.

I always gave Jowar benefit of doubt but on this subject (and few others), rather disappointed. Yes formal agreements are needed & first order of business is to tell your woyanu comrades to vacate eritrean territory per international law & agreements that they have been skirting for close to 2-decades...while you are at it, convince them to also vacate the lands/territories of other neighbors that they are trying to annex. The rest of the talking points seem to be same as woyanu, hizb k'hizb bullshyt to skirt obligations & to renegotiate the legal judgement after the fact. Most (majority) of self respecting eritreans will not sit at table with woyanu...those who left no stone unturned to bring death & destruction to eritrea(ns).

Mind you they were using your ethiopian name to gather/petition foreign nations for sanctions on eritrea on falsified charges and using your ethiopian lands for major human-trafficking networks. Which also on some occasions intentionally passed people directly to organ-traffickers & terrorist networks to intentionally extort their families abroad.

If you want to sit & socialize with those that were openly shooting your unarmed civilians in the open streets that's your prerogative...maybe you are more interested in political opportunities rather than principles. You should have shame and Eritrea(ns) are the last people you should be asking/begging on behalf of woyanu chigray!!...or to even contemplate forcing them into negotiations is being subservient to woyanu. Its a can of worms you don't want to open...if these people you claim are more related to each other couldn't solve it in multiple decades , what makes you think you have the answer?? Why were you cannon fodder for them the many years previous and yet again defending them??...even though you claim the people are more related??

I only wish that woyanu chigray was closely bordered to your region so you could learn first hand of its nature and then tell us its just a geographical issue.

As for me, i will give Abiy/Lemma and other ethiopians that back them an honest chance!!...however, still patiently waiting on Badme & making woyanu behave
