Bekele Gerba did not say the Abiy administration killed Ormoos, or Gojames from Debremarkos travelled all the way to Western Wellega, where the killings happened, to kill Oromos. Bekele Gerba, the guy whom you called a moderate politician, has no the gut to tell the truth.
Had been he an honest person, he would have called the Oromo insurgents who exclusively disrupt life in Western Wellga to stop making life miserable to the Oromos who live there.

If brothers are killed then we should condemn the killing as such but also ask back what they were doing whle being killed?

If you revolt against the conctitutional government and tried to instigate violence, then you could be killed as a whole family not only as two brothers, because you are endangering the peace of the people. I am not implying the said guys were militants (for I am not aware of their identiy and not have more information) but it has to be put into context for the claim to hold water.

Relative to Jal Maro, OLA leader, Bekele is a moderate. Not only that, his party is OFC led by Merera, another moderate respected by Ethiopians from all corners of the country. Relative to OLF, Bekele’s party is moderate.

Bekele wrote a book, translating Martin Luther King’s non violent philosophy. MLK is considered by many as moderate relative to Malcolm X. BTW, he wrote it in Amharic. That’s not what extremists do

He does not posses the qualities of neither M.L King nor Malcolm Little (X). he is a village idiot who promotes ethnic politics in 21st century, over inclusiveness,justice and equality for all mankind.

In fact many commentators indicated on due time that the village and (by extension ethnic) politics of a multi-ethnic country like Ethiopia is destined to run into a dead-end, and it seems still not ready to correct itself.

Ethiopoia can't be separated into a distinctive entities of ethnics, simply because we can't draw any meaningfull boundaries between those presumed distinct ethnics.

It is precisely because of this hard fact of dead-end politics that the likes of Bekele Gerba keep contradicting themselves within a matter of just few days on a public stage. He claimed just before few days that Neftegna rule is rising in the country and turned around few days later and said there is no direct correlation between Amhara and Neftegna (there are Neftegnas in all ethnic groups, according to his own words).

If there were Neftegnas in all ethnic groups and they are trying to rise up once again then it doesn't make a sense to call on a single ethnic group to rise against the rerising of an imaginary Neftegna, unless someone is clue less of what he/she is talking about.

Like you said Ethiopia needs an inclusive, equal and just society where no one should be left out and all cooperate among themselves to bring themselves forward and grow collectively, without any sort of rivalry and suspicion between themselves.

Why should you need to make suspicion between people and then turn around and claim we want to create a common home for all?

Ethiopian political activists should be given the lecture on inclusiveness and harmony between the different constituting politys unless someone has a motive to hold us back from making a progress and master our destiny in the future. The failure of one will be the failure of all and the spirit of ethiopian politics should grasp this simple logic, at least if it wants to succeed, in my view.
