Ethiopia's war drums against TPLF has nothing to do with the ethnicity of the leaders of TPLF. It is true some are Tigrayans of Eritrean origin. Eritreans are Tigrayans by definition and can and should join any social movement or war to defend Tigray. The Eritreans in TPLF have given their life and sacrificed themselves for Tigray and Eritrea.
Tigray and Tigrayans should not see Sebhat Nega etc as enemies. The political power struggle is won by the pro-Eritrean group, which has sever consequence to Tigray as most tigrayans were killed and imprisoned by this pro-Eritrean faction. There is no need to revenge on them. But political positions should be reviewed and adjusted. Eritrea is a political and military threat to Tigray. Eritrea has become the enemy that could affect Tigray negatively and is already affecting it as economic activity is slowed due to the threat from Ethiopia and Eritrea.
TPLF should take actions against Eritreans co-operating with Ethiopia against Tigray. Further TPLF should be prepared to take the leadership in Eritrea . "Wait and see" policy will not help as it creates more uncertainity. Tigray should not recognize the government in Addis Ababa as legtimate because of it's anti-Tigray and anti-Ethiopia policies.
