Thanks almaze for sharing with us such lovely and famous tgre song. According to our seniors, it was originally sang by the late idris wed amir son of massawa in the 50s of last century. Incidentally he made us eris proud that the song is more popular, famous and beloved in eastern sudan among the bejas than in our country. It is still being played in their red sea Tv channel music shows which is aired from port sudan and of course at any weddings ceremonies.
I know, you being an eritrean, you have sympathy for him and for his whereabouts. Of course as you mentioned he is still languishing (assuming that he is still alive and which is doubtful) in one of hgdef's multiple dungeons.
