I don't know what houses they're talking about? I didn't see any houses demolished.

There were homeless camps designed to claim some land maybe, if you ask me. So, the homeless should be offered one of the hotels or school compounds that the City Authorities are managing for COVIC-19 purposes.

No need to wait for the dying COVIC-19 victims to show up.

I think COVIC-19 is a blessing in disguise for the street kids, elderly who were left in the streets and the other homeless victims of poverty in general.

This is an opportunity for the sick, elderly and homeless to get sheltered, fed in that god forsaken place. The government is paying some attention because it doesn't have a choice. The national budget is forced to skew towards health and shelter for the first time in history.

Ample housing, empty beds and some food is what the lawmakers are able to prepare/gather as a stimulus package for now to cope with the health and economic consequences of the disastrous pandemic in the horizon.

So, go ahead and use the little "stimulus package" for the homeless. If Amnesty has some balls send the poor government some aid instead of blabbering nonsense. Who is listening to their nonsense when the poor government is doing all it can?

Even Eskinder/Balderas are being looked at as an "የአንጋራው ፈላስፋ" by many these days! Folks are asking help not just talk. Talk is cheap!

Oh boy...oh boy...

Politics or no politics I wouldn't call my dear and near country as "bloody shi't empire" because every one on this planet deserves a home sweet home whether good, bad or in between. If it is shi't empire you have the chance to improve it. If it is good empire you have the chance to enjoy it. If it is in between the two you have the chance to enjoy diversity and build in to it equality with the rainbow colored peacock beauty.
