I am not painting that ELF leadership were innocent entity, but the ranks and files of ELF fighters were Innocent Eritreans who fought for Eritrea's Independence. There were corrupt and tribalists leadership in ELF as there were in the EPLF, but the worst of all leadership was the power hungry and power corrupt ሓሳድ ቡዳ Isayas the snake.

Majority Fighters from both sides of ELF and EPLF were for the unification of ELF and EPLF, but buda Isayas rejected it and aligned with TPLF to get rid of Genuine ELF fighters. Then Isayas handed Badme to TPLF for their services in 1982/3. This is a fact !!

Why was then Isayas aligned with TPLF to get rid of genuine ELF fighters if the relations between EPLF and TPLF were not smooth ?
