u r wrong ...Sabur saying if they got the right leader.. issu time come and gone.. so he doesnt expected anything out of issu that is what he mean.. even Singapore is developed because of one man. Ethiopia developed because of one man, Rwanda developed because one man vision ... in Singapore case when the leader asked can he done what he did in last 30 years .. the great leader said i cant because i have soft people . in old time we have driven people who will die for mama Singapore .. who share their cloth to go out and work because they dont have two cloth they share one for two this kind of people developed Singapore..

for Eritrea to make it issu must change first .. he must admit he is junior partner and never get involved in Ethiopia politics as he did last week ... it was his greatest mistake but he will be forgiven if he make ten right move.. for now he must make bold move may be lease the part of Assab to Ethiopia for 50 years. let Ethiopia develop it this way issu can take business away from Djibouti otherwise their is zero use of Assab for Ethiopia Djibouti is the most effective port for Ethiopia .. already their is train line why would any one want to export coffee in Assab port when they could do it in half price in Djibouti port ...

as Dawit said we should start industrial zone and may be start manufacturing and export this product thru Assab port ...giving industrial zone to Ethiopia is not even bad idea in fact give everyone industrial zone why do the Eritrea care if the Chinese set up shop in Assab and export their goods to Arab country and West countries... the should make their port city free zone free industrial zone .. if they want progress all they could ask is getting employment ... first round of investors might get free industrial zone the next one start paying or start leasing or even getting fee for port service would have been much profitable then charging them lease to setup shop..

unlike Ethiopian i see great hope for Eritrea because they dont have buda people like us who opposed our own progress.. the Eritrea will die first this attitude will take them place if issu change fast and use Dr.Abiy second opportunity and make Eritrea great again..

Eritrea might take as u said 1000 mw electric for port service but the Eritrea doesn't need all this power so they can sale it or they can supply industrial zone and make money that way... it is all win win all we have to do is make it happened ..

to this to happened the Amhara also must hold their horses and never claim Assab as Ethiopia and always willing to pay for service this simple act will take us place otherwise ታጥቦ ጭቃ ነው።

The following statement that Eritrea don't need Ethiopia is what I think is a fallacy.

What PIA knows on the other hand is, that we need each other. That's why he is engaging in the present situation. Comprehensive peace that includes Tigrai State is the way forward.

Dawi, if u know Eritrean u will over looked what he said about we dont need Ethiopian cooperation .. that is funny but just over look it ... this is how the Eritrean mind work self sufficient no country is self sufficient let alone pooooooooooooooooor Eritrea even America is not self sufficient.. Indian tied and failed when long time prime mister indira gandhi rule over her own son open the business gate and they killed him for it.. but look what Idian achieved because of the son of indira gandhi.... the son knows his mother self sufficient doesnt work.. self sufficient mean death sentence for your economy if u produce bread why would u produce more u just produce one type and the bread sale it self you have zero competition from outside so u dont improve ... every business love monopoly but monopoly is the one it kill the host.. it is not good for the monopoly company itself because they dont improve because they dont have competition

If the Eritrean government learns to stop micro managing the economy and allow Eritrean investors to invest in the country, the first obstacle would be broken.

With the right leadership and policy, Eritrea was (is) the best candidate to prosper fast given its resourceful Population, Natural Resources, Geographical location and the amount of data EPLF had right after independence.
