ህዝባዊ ግንባር ሓርነት ኤርትራ፡ ካብ’ቲ ኣብ ልዕሊ ህዝቢ ኤርትራ ዝወርድ ዝነበረ ግፍዒ፡ በደልን ወጽዓን ዝተወልደ ፖለቲካዊ ሓይልን መትከላትን መንእሰያት ኤርትራ ኰይኑ፡ ንህዝቢ ኤርትራ ወዲቡን መሪሑን ባህጊ ሓርነትን ናጽነትን ህዝቢ ኤርትራ ተሰኪሙ ኣብ ምዕራፉ ንምብጻሕ፡ ብህዝቢ ኤርትራ ዝተወከለ ውድብ’ዩ። ስርሒት ፈንቅል ከኣ፡ ሓደ ካብ’ቶም ወተሃደራዊ ብልሒን ርቀትን ኤርትራውያን መንእሰያት ዝተመስከረሉ ኣደናቒን ግዙፍን ወተሃደራዊ ስርሒትን ዓወትን’ዩ።
ህግ፡ ስርሒት ፈንቅል ከካይድ ምስወሰነ፡ ዕብየትን ኣገዳስነትን ከምኡ’ውን ዓወቱን ፍሽለቱን ኣብ መጻኢ ዕድል ናጽነት ኤርትራ ክህልዎ ዝኽእል ጽልዋ ኣብ ግምት ኣትዩ፡ ኣዝዩ ጽፉፍ ምድላው ክካየደሉ ነይርዎ። ኣብ 1977 ህግ ወደባዊት ከተማ ምጽዋዕ ንምሕራር ዘካየዶ ስርሒት ከም’ቲ ዝተደልየ ስለዘይከደን ገዚፍ ወስዋእቲ ስለዝተኸፍሎን፡ ኣብ ኣእምሮ ነፍሲ-ወከፍ ተጋዳላይን ህዝብን መሪር ዝኽሪ’ዩ ገዲፉ ነይሩ። ስለዚ፡ ድሕሪ 13 ዓመታት ንካልኣይ ግዜ ምጽዋዕ ንምሕራርን ኣንፈት ወተሃደራዊን ፖለቲካዊን ጕዕዞ ህዝቢ ኤርትራን ሰውርኡን ንምንጻርን ዝካየድ ውግእ፡ ፍጹም ጕድለት ዘይብሉ ክኸውን ከምዘለዎ ኣይሰሓትን።
ጽፉፍ ወተሃደራዊ ስርሒት ንምክያድ፡ ጽጹይ ስለያዊ ሓበሬታ ጸላኢኻ ምክያድ ቀዳማይ ወተሃደራዊ ሕጊ’ዩ። ቻይናዊ ሊቕ ወተሃደራዊ ስትራተጂ ሳን ጹ፡ ኣብ’ታ ‘ጥበብ ኵናት’ (The Art Of War) እትብል ወተሃደራዊ ስትራተጂ እተስተምህር መጽሓፉ፡
ህግ ‘ምበኣር፡ ዓቕሚ ገዛእ-ርእሱ ፈሊጡ ዓቕሚ ጸላኢኡ ብደቂቕ ኣጽኒዑ ዘየወላውል ዓወት ንኽጐናጸፍ፡ ሓበሬታ ኣብ ምእካብ ብዕቱብ ሰሪሑ። ዓቕሚ ጸላኢኡ ብዝግባእ ተረዲኡ፤ ኣበይን መዓስን ብኸመይን ኣጥቂዑ ከምዝዕወተሉ ድማ በብደረጅኡ ዝተታሕዘ ወተሃደራዊ ስትራተጂ ሓንጺጹ።
ይኹን ግን፡ ደርግ’ውን ብጸረ-ስለያን ወተሃደራዊ ስትራተጂታትን ሰናፍ ኣይነበረን። ኰይኑ ድማ፡ ንኹሉ ኵነታትን ስለያዊ ምንቅስቓስ ህዝባዊ ግንባር ብምምርማር፡ ምጽናዕን ምትንታንን፡ ህግ ንወደባዊት ከተማ ምጽዋዕ ከጥቅዕ ምዃኑ ኣረጋገጸ። ዓቕሚ ህዝባዊ ግንባር ብዝግባእ ተረዲኡ ከኣ፡ ነቲ መጥቃዕቲ ከፍሽል ዝኽእል ምድላው ገበረ። ህዝባዊ ግንባር’ውን ብግዲኡ፡ ምጽዋዕ ከጥቅዕ ምዃኑ ደርግ ከምዝፈለጠን ነቲ መጥቃዕቲ ከፍሽል ዝኽእል ምድላው ከምዘጻፈፈን ብጽዑቕን ጽጹይን ስለያዊ ሓበሬታታት ኣረጋገጸ።
እዚ ኵነታት’ዚ ንህዝባዊ ግንባርን ነቲ ንነዊሕ እዋን ዝተሰርሓሉን ዝተሃንደሰን ወተሃደራዊ ስርሒትን ኣብ ሓደጋ ዘውድቕ’ዩ ነይሩ። ምኽንያቱ፡ ህዝባዊ ግንባር እቲ ብነዊሕን ደቂቕን ስለያዊ ንጥፈታት ዝኣከቦ ሓበሬታታትን ዝሃንደሶ ወተሃደራዊ ስትራተጂን ብጸላኢኡ ተፈሊጡ’ዩ። ስለዚ፡ እቲ ኣብ ኵናት ዝለዓለ ኣገዳስነት ዝወሃቦን ናይ ዓወት ብልጫ ዝህብን “ሃንደበትነት” (element of surprise) ተመንጢሉ’ዩ። ኣብ ከም’ዚ ኵነታት ኣብ ልዕሊ ጸላኢኻ መጥቃዕቲ ምፍናው፡ “ጥፍኣ ዝበለን ሓሩጭ ምስ ንፋስ ይጻወታ” እዩ ነገሩ። ህዝባዊ ግንባር፡ እቲ ዝወጠኖ ስርሒት ፈንቅል ኣብ ትሕቲ ዝዀነ ይኹን ኵነት ክፈሽል ከምዘይብሉን ክትግበር ከምዘለዎን ወዲእዎ’ዩ። ይኹን ግን፡ እቲ ጨቢጥዎ ዝነበረ “ሃንደበትነት” ኵናት የብሉን። ሕጂ ዝካየድ ኵናት፡ ኣንጻር’ቲ መጥቃዕቲ ክትፍኑ ምዃንካ ድሮ ፈሊጡካ ዘሎ፡ ኣብ ድፋዓቱ ኮፍ ኢሉ ዝከላኸልን ዝለዓለ ዓቕሚ ዘለዎን ጸላኢኻ’ዩ። እዚ ከም’ዚ ዓይነት ኵናት፡ ኣይኰነንዶ ኣብ ምክልኻል ምስ ዘሎ ብዓቕሚ ጸብለልታ ዘለዎ ጸላኢኻ፡ ምስ ትሑት ዓቕሚ ዘለዎ ኣብ ምክልኻል ዝርከብ ጸላኢ’ውን ዘዋጽእ ኣይኰነን። “እሞ ደኣ እንታይ ይገበር፧” ንወተሃደራውያን ሃንደስቲ ህዝባዊ ግንባር ኣዋጣሪ ሕቶ ኰነ።
እታ እንኮ መፍትሒት፡ ነታ ደርጊ መንጢልዋ ዘሎ “ሃንደበትነት” (element of surprise) ደጊምካ ካብ ደርጊ ምምንጣላ’ዩ። “ጽቡቕ። ግን ብኸመይ ንምንጥላ፧” ወተሃደራውያን ሓንጸጽቲ ስትራተጂ ህዝባዊ ግንባር ክምልስዋ ዝነበሮም ሕቶ’ያ። ምስ ጸላኢኻ ፊት ንፊት ተፋጢጥካሉ ኣብ ዘለኻ ህሞት እንተዀነ’ውን፡ ንጸላኢኻ ኣብ ዘይተጸበዮ ኣንፈት/ማእዝን ብምጥቃዕ ብልጫ “ሃንደበትነት” ክትጭብጥ ትኽእል ኢኻ። ነዚ ንምግባር፡ መደናገሪ ወስታ (ሞሳ) ብምግባር ኣብ ኣእምሮ ጸላኢኻ ትጽቢት ክትፈጥር ኣለካ። እዚ ስትራተጂ’ዚ፡ ኣብ ወተሃደራዊ ስትራተጂ ቻይና፡ “ኣብ ምዕራብ ወስ ኢልካ ኣብ ምብራቕ ኣጥቅዕ።” ተባሂሉ ይግለጽ። እቶም ሓላፍነት ህይወት ኣሽሓት ጀጋኑ ደቂ ህዝቢ ኤርትራ ዝተሰከሙ ወተሃደራውያን ሃንደስቲ ህዝባዊ ግንባር፡ ህይወት ተጋደልቲ ተዓቂቡ ብውሑድ ዋጋ ስርሒት ፈንቅል ንምፍጻም፡ ክግመት ዘይከኣል ስትራተጂ ሓሰቡ። ንሱ ከኣ፡
ስለዚ፡ ገለ ክፋል ናይ’ቲ ስርሒት ፈንቅል ንምፍጻም ኣብ ጐላጉል ሰምሃር ሻሕ ኢሉ ዝነበረ ሓጸልጸል ዝብል ኤርትራዊ መንእሰይ (ክ/ሰ 70) ሃንደበት ማርቸድሳት ተጻዒኑ፡ ካብ መሬት ኤርትራ ተሰወረ። እንተዀነ፡ ሰራዊት ደርግ ናይ’ዚ ሓድሽ ወተሃደራዊ ለውጢ ኣመታት ከይረክብ ምእንቲ፡ ናይ ውሑዳት ኣሃዱታት ክ/ሰ 70 ምንቅስቓስን ርክባት ሬድዮታትን ኣብ ጐላጉል ሰምሃርን ምስኡ ዝዳወብ መሬት ሳሕልን ቀጸለ። እቲ ብቐንዱ ስርሒት ፈንቅል ንምፍጻም ዝተወሰነ ክ/ሰ 85 ድማ ፍጹም ካብ ርክባት ተሰወረ። ወተሃደራውያን ሃንደስቲ ደርጊ፡ ክ/ሰ 70 ንነዊሕ እዋን ተሰዊርዎም ምስ ምንባሩ፡ ሕጂ ሃንደበት ብመጥለፊ ሬድዮታት ደሃዩ ምርካቦምን፡ ነቲ ምጽዋዕ ንምጥቃዕ ዝተወጠነ ውግእ ክ/ሰ 70 ከካይዶ ምዃኑ ኣመኑ። ኣብ ከም’ዚ ኵነተ ኣእምሮ እንከለዉ ከኣ፡ እቲ ካብ ኤርትራ ተበጊሱ 1800ኪሜ ተጓዒዙ ከይተፈልጠ ብስዉር ማእከል ኢትዮጵያ ዝኣተወ ሓይሊ ክ/ሰ 70፡ ኣብ መጀመርያ ጥሪ 1990 ነቲ ቀሲኑ ኣዒሙ ዝነበረ ሰራዊት ደርግ ኣብ ኣሶሳ ዝተባህለ ቦታ ረመጽ ከዓወሉ። ኢትዮጵያን ዓለምን በዚ ሃንደበታዊ ስርሒት ተናወጻ። ደርግ ድማ፡
እቲ 1800ኪሜ ተጓዒዙ ኣብ ውሽጢ ኢትዮጵያ ዘጥቀዐ ገለ ክፋል ክ/ሰ 70 ምስ ኣሃዱታት መካናይዝድ፡ ነቲ “ከም በርቂ ኣጥቂዕካ ከም ንፋስ ተሰወር” ዝብል ወተሃደራዊ ስትራተጂ ብምኽታል፡ ኣብ ሓጺር መዓልታት ሽታ ማይ ኰነ። ምንቅስቓሳቱ ከይተፈልጠ ድማ ከም’ቲ ቀዳማይ ብመሬት ሱዳን ሓሊፉ ሰምሃር ተራእየ። በዚ ከኣ፡ ሰለስተ ብርጌዳት ክ/ሰ 85፡ ሰለስተ ብርጌዳት ክ/ሰ 70፡ ክልተ ብርጌዳት ክ/ሰ 61፡ ሓደ ብርጌድ ክ/ሰ 96 ከምኡ’ውን ክልተ መካናይዝድ ብርጌድ 74 ነቲ ናይ መጥቃዕቲ ስርሒት ንምክያድ ተዳለዋ። ብሓፈሽኡ፡ ህዝባዊ ግንባር 13,500 ምዑታት ተጋደልቲ፡ 45 ታንክታት 100ሚ.ሜ.፡ 31 ከበድቲ መዳፍዕ (130፡ 122፡ 85ሚ.ሜ.)፡ 4 ቢኤም 21 ወንጫፊ ሮኬት፡ ልዕሊ 20 ጸረ-ነፈርቲ ረሳሻትን ጸረ-ታንክ ሚሳይላትን ከምኡ’ውን ልዕሊ 10 ፈጣናት ጀላቡ ዝዓጠቐ መጠነ ንኡስ ሓይሊ ባሕሪ ኣሰሊፉ ነቲ ብባህሪኡ ፍልይ ዝበለ ናይ ባሕሪን መሬትን ሃንደበታዊ መጥቃዕቲ ተዳለወ። ሰራዊት ደርግ ብወገኑ፡ ምስ 3000 ኣባላት ሓይሊ ባሕሪ ተደሚሩ ኣስታት 25,000 ወተሃደራት፡ ኣስታት 150 ዝተፈላለየ ታንክታት፡ ኣስታት 70 ከበድቲ መዳፍዕ፡ ልዕሊ 100 ረሻሻት፡ ብብዝሒ ጸረ-ታንክ ሚሳይላት፡ ካብ ኣስመራ እናተበገሳ ዝድብድባ ነፈርቲ፡ ብሸውዓተ ስኳድሮን ዝቘመ 35 ዓመት ዕድመ ዝነበሮ ምኵር ሓይሊ ባሕሪ 30 ዓበይቲን ንኣሽቱን መራኽብ ዓጢቑ ንምክልኻል ድሉው ነበረ።
እቲ ብኹሉ መለክዒታት ወተሃደራዊ ዓቕሚ ምስ ሰራዊት ደርግ ክነጻጸር እንከሎ ንኡስ ዓቕሚ ዝነበሮ ንመጥቃዕቲ ዝተዳለወ ሓይሊ ህዝባዊ ግንባር፡ ብልዑል ብልሓት ዝጨበጣ ‘ሃንደበትነት’ ኵናትን ሓቀኛ ዕላማን ሒዙ፡ ኣብ ልዕሊ’ቲ ብልዑልን ብልሓትን ርቀትን ወተሃደራዊ ስትራተጂ ህዝባዊ ግንባር ዝተሃመለን ኣብ ምክልኻል ዝነበረን መግዛእታዊ ሓይሊ ናይ ክልተ መዓልታት በርቃዊ መጥቃዕቲ (8-10 ለካቲት 1990) ብምክያድ፡ ነቲ ሕጂ ድሕሪ 30 ዓመታት ብሓበንን ኵርዓትን እንዝክሮ ዘለና ኣደናቒ ኤርትራዊ ወተሃደራዊ ዓወት ብደምን ኣዕጽምትን ጀጋኑ ኣብ ማህደር ታሪኽ ኤርትራ ጽሒፉ።

ህግ ‘ምበኣር፡ ዓቕሚ ገዛእ-ርእሱ ፈሊጡ ዓቕሚ ጸላኢኡ ብደቂቕ ኣጽኒዑ ዘየወላውል ዓወት ንኽጐናጸፍ፡ ሓበሬታ ኣብ ምእካብ ብዕቱብ ሰሪሑ። ዓቕሚ ጸላኢኡ ብዝግባእ ተረዲኡ፤ ኣበይን መዓስን ብኸመይን ኣጥቂዑ ከምዝዕወተሉ ድማ በብደረጅኡ ዝተታሕዘ ወተሃደራዊ ስትራተጂ ሓንጺጹ።
ይኹን ግን፡ ደርግ’ውን ብጸረ-ስለያን ወተሃደራዊ ስትራተጂታትን ሰናፍ ኣይነበረን። ኰይኑ ድማ፡ ንኹሉ ኵነታትን ስለያዊ ምንቅስቓስ ህዝባዊ ግንባር ብምምርማር፡ ምጽናዕን ምትንታንን፡ ህግ ንወደባዊት ከተማ ምጽዋዕ ከጥቅዕ ምዃኑ ኣረጋገጸ። ዓቕሚ ህዝባዊ ግንባር ብዝግባእ ተረዲኡ ከኣ፡ ነቲ መጥቃዕቲ ከፍሽል ዝኽእል ምድላው ገበረ። ህዝባዊ ግንባር’ውን ብግዲኡ፡ ምጽዋዕ ከጥቅዕ ምዃኑ ደርግ ከምዝፈለጠን ነቲ መጥቃዕቲ ከፍሽል ዝኽእል ምድላው ከምዘጻፈፈን ብጽዑቕን ጽጹይን ስለያዊ ሓበሬታታት ኣረጋገጸ።
