The end doesn't seem to be in sight for the ordeal that these students and their parents have been in since they have been held captive by the Boko Haram group that calls itself OLF-Shene. This news have recently come to the forefront thanks to BBC's interview with one of the captives who luckily escaped with what seemed the intervention of an invisible hand. The Amhara regional government, which was suppose to be working actively to secure the release of its young students, preferred to be mum about the saga to only acknowledge its occurrence by the head of Regional Government mentioning about having info of the abduction only of four students. Days latter the PM press secretary told the whole world that the number of students under captivity was 21 out of whom 17 were released. It has been now days since the information was given by the press secretary but nobody have heard form those students who were said to have been released.

We need to put the word out to the international news organizations about the home grown Boko-haram and its campaign of killing and harming civilians just because they are ethnic Amhara. The current Ethiopian government does seem to take lightly the coordinated campaign of hate by extreme OLF media and ODP officials targeting the Amhara people. An Ethiopia that doesn't value the lives of all its people equally, is going to be an Ethiopia that is no more. The government has to be hold accountable for its negligence of such horrific acts and tacit support for rowdy groups whose defined objectives are only killing Amharas.

What is all this hurting amaregna speaking people is designed to further divide the society and most of all to make Amaraegna speaking people think more like ethnic fanatics of olf and tplf so that the amregna speaking people would not think about Ethiopia, foregt about Ethiopia and think only in its surrounding kilil. A growing social media campaign echoes the #BringBackOurGirls activism in Nigeria over the mass kidnapping there of scores of schoolgirls in 2014. Ethiopians are pressuring the government for answers in the abduction in the Oromia region.

It is not clear how many of the students remain captive. The prime minister’s press secretary, Nigussu Tilahun, disclosed on Jan. 11 that 21 students from Dembi Dollo University were released while six remained captive.

But family members say they haven’t heard from their loved ones.

For the first time since news of the kidnapping of 17 Dembi Dollo university students in western Oromia surfaced, the university’s president Dr. Leta Tesfaye is quoted by Amhara Mass Media Agency (AMMA) as saying that 12 of the 17 kidnapped students are from the university campus. According to the report, Dr Tesfaye said that the university has confirmed 12 of the names from the students list of the campus. The report says nothing about the names of the remaining individuals.

This was disclosed at a meeting which took place at Dembi Dollo university yesterday. The meeting was also attended by the minister of peace Muferiat Kamil, federal police commission commissioner Endeshaw Tasew and press secretariat of the office of PM Abiy Ahmed Negussu Tilahun as well as representatives of from the federal army and intelligence apparatus. Participants of the discussion have also raised concerns that similar kidnappings have targeted business people and other civilians in the area.

Let me start from logic 101. Fano is a response against your thuggish rule that robbed the amhara people of their land, their resources, their dignity and their humanity. Your criminal gangs needed to be checked and Fano did just that. Now don't cry river here. You created the monster and it did bite you where it hurts the most.

You don't even see the obvious..do you? It is because your hero Jal Aro is only terrorizing people like the bokoharam style and, it is the responsibility of the government to make sure that citizens are protected and law and order respected. Yes you are here perfectly looking for blood. It is a losing battle to make you, TPLF thugs, see things for the way they are.
