የአማራ ሕዝብ የሕልውና ትግል ላይ ነው። መቼ ነው የሚገባችሁ? ይህ ሕዝብ የመጥፋት አደጋ ነው የተዳረጉበት። የመጥፋት ሲባል ከማጆሪቲ ወደማይኖሪቲ የማውረድ፤ ሴት ልጆቺን በመቶ ሺዎች ለግርድና የመሸጥና ውልደትን የመቀነስ፤ ቆነጃጅቶቹን ደግሞ ለጋላ ቅምጥ መጫወቻ የማድረግ፤ መሬቱን የመቀራመት ....ወዘተ።
ይህን ለመቀልበስ በማደረግ እልህ አስጨራሽ ትግል ሌክቸረሮች እንዲሁም ተማራዎች ዱር ቤቴ ብለው ገደላ ገደል ውስጥ ከትመው እየተፋለሙ ባሉበት ሰዓት ሌላው ደሞ ምንም እንዳልተፈጠረ የሚንፈላሰስበት ሁኔታ መፈጠር የለበትም።
የአንድና ሁለት አመት ትምህርት መዘጋት ከተጋረጠው የህልውና አደጋ ጋር ሲነፃፀር ምንም አይደለም። አማራ ስላልሆናችሁ የአማራ ችግር ብዙም አይሰማችሁም። ግንቦቴው ሰላም አንተ የምታውቀው ትግል እና ይህ ይለያያል። ለዚህ ነው የአማራ ብሄርተኝነት የዜጋ ካርድ የሚጫወተውን ለስላሳ ትውልድ የማይፈልገው።

ቱስ ቱስ ወያኔ - ወፎች እንዳይበሩ፣ እናቶችም እንዳይወልዱ እንዳትይ ብቻ።
አማራ ጭራሽ ተንኮታክቶ እንዲወድቅ ነው እምትፈልው? ወያኔ ደርግን ሲዋጋ የትግራይ ተማሪ ቤቶች ሳይዘጉ ፣ ለምን ተብሎ ነው አማራ ግዛት አሁን የሚዘጉት? ምንስ ሊፈይድ ነው? ትግሉን መቀላቀል የሚፈልጉ ትምህርቱን አቋርጠው በረሃ ይግቡ ፣ አይደለም እየተማርን እንታገላለን ወይንም ምንም ውስጥ መግባት አንፈልግም ያሉት ደግሞ ትምህርታቸውን ይቀጥሉ። የትምህርት ቤት መዘጋት የሚጠቅመው ምቀኛ ወያኔዎችንና እንሰሳ ፒፒዎችን ብቻ ነው። ከይሲ!

I just have this question: Suppose there is an active shooter threat in a certain community, should that community be on lockdown and schools closed until the threat is cleared? Now, in the entire Amhara region there is an Orommuma active shooter on the ground and bombing drones buzzing the sky. What should be the most acceptable choice? No, question OLF-ENDF could bomb schools, because it already did bombing monasteries etc.

Abere - That’s not the case here.
In my opinion, threatening to forcefully close all higher educations in Amhara region is wrong specially if the purpose is to conscript the youth into the warfront. This wouldn’t be any different from TPLF’s archaic methodology that miserably failed a few years ago. First, there is no reason why Fano can’t continue to fight without disrupting schools. Second, forcing the youth to fight is counterproductive while there are millions out there who want to join the struggle voluntarily. Third, it’s morally wrong for the diaspora to stick their nose into this stance while their kids are comfortably attending college.
If the intent is to protect the public from an active shooting in a certain community, then all activities in that community will invariably be shut down whether a direction is given by a certain body or not.

Selam,
I understand this a tough choice, but nothing is more precious than life. We have to first put ourselves in the shoes of the parents of these college students. If you had a child attending one of these universities in Amhara region, would feel safe to let your child go and attend but constantly worrying about his/her trapped in a crossfire or expect bad news of your child?
Look, it is those OLF rag tags who kidnapped 21 Amhara university girl students who are now roaming in Amhara region. Safety becomes first, family is first. No parent deserves to mourn the loss of its child. The odds of college students risking their lives is very high. It is a choice between life and career. And you know, especially today, college degree is less valued as I know many engineering students lost hope finding job a long time ago - given the poor quality of education and poor economic performance and growth.
If PP-OLF is concerned about education and human resource development, why does not it pull out of the region and create a safe learning environment?

Then let the parents make that decision. While we can educate them & bring up the risks to their attention, who are we to tell them to keep their kids home? Don’t fall into KIFFU woyane rats’ trap & archaic top-down kind of rigid chain of command, which never works.
