For the record here, it is not only General Kasaye Chemede, who said the majority of the army were Oromo extracts. The late Ato Assefa Chabo also said something to the same effect, as it was discussed before a number of years under the following linked thread.

Defend,
It doesn't matter whosoever said it. No matter who leads the Empire or serve the purpose of the colonial regime. The standing principle Oromo nation follow is consistent. Oromo nation is interested to do away with colonial hegemony who denied Oromo's identity (language, culture, religion and resource) and Oromo country aka Oromia.
