ኢሬቻ ደግሞ በብዝሃትነት ነዉ የተመሰረተዉ፣ አንድ አይነትነትን የለዉም፣ የተለየዩ ቀለማት አንድ ላይ መጥቶ ያደምቁታል፣ ድምቀቱ ከብዝሃት ነዉ የምመነጨዉ፣ በተመሳሳይነት ላይ አይደለም የተመሰረተዉ፣ አንድ ማዕከል የለዉም፣ መሪዎቹ ከተለያዩ ቦታ ና ከተለያዩ አመለካከቶች ነዉ የምመነጨዉ፣ ሁሉም እንደመሰለዉ ያከብረዋል፣ እንድህ ሁን የምለዉ ማዕከለዊ ስልጣን የለዉም፣ መመሪያዉ የኦሮሞ የቆየ ና እግዚያብሔርን የማመስገን ተልዕኮ ብቻ ነው ያለዉ። ሁሉም እንደመሰለዉ ፈጣሪዉን ማመስገን ና መማፀን ይችላል፣ በዚህ ሆነህ፣ እንደዚህ አድርገህ የምለዉ የለም።

The lack of centralized coordination and control mechanism could risk a potential abuse and divergence of the goal of the celebration of irrecha in the long run, while Meskel could outlive and sustain itself due to its central tight control of the ceremony, like it did for 100s of years so far.

At the same time an Ethiopian life should be reflective of the diverse society we have been all along and try to encompass diversity in unity, in which case Irrecha could outshine Meskel in the long run much easily. It is simply more reflective of the reality on the ground and thereby more attractive than the more of centrally controlled extravagance of Meskel.

Economically both are worth of celebrating and luxuries for the city of Addis annual revenue, implying good news for more Corridor developments in the future.

by the way Tewahedo and Tawheed meaning is similar tawheed= "Oneness of God / tewahedo = United as one

Ireecha is more like Tigrays Ashenda or Gojams Engicha or Selales Gobiye/shinoye its a oromo ethno-cultural festival mixed with a bit of Waaqafana religion. Ireccha is not a fully religious festival that is why it's decentralized because it is ethnically based that includes Pente, Muslim and Orthodox Oromos. now its being marketted not only to all oromo but all biher biheresebs and now it being declared a holiday for peace and unity

This is beautiful, I didn't doubt about it. There is also no doubt that the celebration is centrally choreographed, that is why it is so monotonous and similar all over the places, you can't see such a monoton scenery in the Irrecha celebration, the centers of the crowd are much smaller, of different tones and hues. Here you hear Afan Oromo, meters away you here a different language, the rhythms vary constantly, the blessings have no central guides, except that it is praying to the Almighty using one's own words. Abbaa Gadaa has no control over what people have to say or sing, which attire to put on or anything similar.

Diverse Irrecha, reflection of the mosaic nature of Ethiopia, i think.

I really like the beautiful varicolored closings of the festival.

There is a saying I remember I think in Afan Oromo, originally:

"ሃዳ ነም ኢሺ ፎክፍቱ አረብሰኒ፣ ሃዳ ኡፊ ኢሺ በሬዱ አረብሥሱ".

it is sort of saying "if you insult somebody's ugly mother, then you invite also the others to insult your own beautiful mother", assuming there is an ugly mother to begin with.

If you consider Irrecha is demon and you can substantiate that with tangible evidence, then come forward and make your case for others to see.

Failing to do that, you are also invited to clean yourself from the demon that has engulfed you since your origin as a life on the planet before trying to bake to your level about something you have hardly any understanding about it.

That is fair enough disposition to your uncalled for tantrum on the internet.

Anyhow was the demon you saw in Irrecha revealed to you before or after you drove perhaps 100s of thousands of the youth of Tigray to their certain deaths in the name of taking back power from the state?
