They talk Gurage music, Gurage weddings, Mesqel and Arafa celebrations. They also talk about Gurage personalities in their proessions such as the military, business and education. Racist prejudicial, they hope to build pride as if that individual achieved what they achieved because they are Gurage.
You will never find them talking or writing politics, terrorism, discrimination, suppression, administrative abuses, human right violations, land losses, 2nd-class citizenship of majority Gurages in the special weredas of Qebena and Mareqo.
Out of their tight lips, these are their agends which they call the Gurage Initiatives: Don't speak the oppression of Gurage but only its happy times, past and present.
