Sodos are one leg in and the other leg out of Gurage anyway. In many ways, they feel uncomfortable to be Gurage. They feel they are where they are due to some dark historical circunstance but they ought rather be in Amara. In spirit, they strive to live that dream. A kind of misfit they feel in Gurage.
