You would think there is no worst place than hell. Abiy Ahmed's Ethiopia. It is a purgatory plus hell. In purgatory, you suffer for your sins to be foregiven and then ascend to heaven. In Ethiopia, you suffer but you go nowhere. You stay in it to suffer more. Ethiopia is purgatory and hell. Lower than hell.
Freedoms and safety are eroded such that you cannot criticize the government without at least being humiliated as happened to parliamentarian Dr. Desalrgn Chane recently, at worse you could be sassassinated. You cannot trave from from one city to another without being blockaded, robbed and shot. You may be killed or beaten by the feared 'Mekelakia' for as simple reason as not willing to give them money. Or you could be killed if you oppose gov millitia recruitment as it hapoened in Ambo. Or you could be killed by one of the liberation fronts such as Fano, TPLF, OLA, Shene, Gambella armed groups, Qebena and Mareqo terrorusts who grabbed Gurage lands or the Hadiya Zone located thugs who create havoc on western Gurage.
Draconian laws on taxes on business and salaried incomes which are not raised adjusting for high inflations due to the IMF Structural Adjustment regime, and high cost of government services for such as vehicle plates, licences and IDs. impoverishing the people and lowering their abilities to feed their families. Out-migration of those desperate and frustrated middle-class professional Ethiopians is on the increase.
Ethiopia is unlivable under Clown Abiy Ahmed's Machiavellian tyranny.
