We said they have no viable ideology to rally their grass root support in Amhara region let alone Ethiopians.
In fact, we suggested them ideology, but they failed to grasp it. We said the Ethiopian political landscape has changed and became identity based right now (basically the old Amhara-centric Ethiopia is dead or fractured). To have a say in the politics of the nation, we told them, forget your pure blood Amara Fano mantra which is nonexistent. Embrace ethnic politics as currently is for now but fight for justice for everybody and use the massive human and material resource of the country to be effective. Be inclusive. Include the disgruntled Oromo and all walks of Ethiopians. Stop the slurs. Make the movement top to bottom with a sound leader (not Zemene kassie though; has no appeal) instead of fragmented bottom-up individual effort movement pumped by dollar donation. They chauvinistic behavior became unmanageable. Now they are fragmented here and there left with their social media fronts and propaganda.
