A living system does not grow by accumulation(Medemer).
It grows by division.
In biology, a cell does not become larger indefinitely. It reaches a point where continued expansion would weaken its internal balance. At that point, it divides into two cells, each carrying the same core structure.
The transformation system must follow the same principle.
Why Growth Through Addition Fails
Most systems attempt to grow by adding more people( more soldiers to win war/ bring security) into the same structure.
The group becomes larger. Interaction becomes weaker. Visibility decreases. Accountability fades. The process becomes diluted.
At first, this appears successful. Numbers increase. Activity expands. But internally, something critical is lost.
The system stops transforming and begins maintaining.
This is the point where many systems become stable but ineffective.

Re: Is the Concept of Medemer the root cause of Abiy's leadership failure over the last 8 years??
