That is not begging. It is following the international diplomatic norm of respectfully addressing dignitaries.

Self-sertified begger is Abiy Ahmed who said ""በተፈጥሮዬ የመለመን ፀጋ አለኝ:: ልመና በጣም የሚሳካልኝ ሰው ነኝ:: እድሜዬን በሙሉ ማለት ነው::"

Eden says “ it is following the international diplomatic norm.” I disagree. In fact, the TPLF leaders have no clue what international norm is.

Amb. Bankole Adeoye, the AU's Commissioner for Political Affairs, Peace and Security, stated, "The AUC will continue to support Ethiopia appropriately in the ongoing implementation of the Peace Agreement until it is fully realized." Are you suggesting that TPLF, a signatory of the Pretoria Agreement, should refrain from communicating with the other parties involved in the peace process?

Just the other day, I heard on a TV report that the Secretary-General of the United Nations mentioned he had a phone conversation with Dr. Debretsion. Are you overlooking the fact that international diplomacy involves various entities engaging in political discussions? Such interactions can take place through email, letters, Zoom meetings, face-to-face meetings, and more.

Of course, there is begging in its most redundant and nagging form. In the past, how many times has the TPLF sent letters to the AU? A dozen times. Just a week ago, the TPLF launched a war to invade Telemt and had already invaded Raya. And how on earth is it begging the AU now, when it found it impossible to win the battle?

Is Tigray a country? The TPLF must be most grateful to its Orommuma OLF friend for being spared from total annihilation.

Abiy Ahmed is giving a budget, supplying fuel, weapons, and ammunition, and allowing Debretsion et al. to gather in halls and dine in hotels—yet they can open war whenever they like. Imagine Zemene Kassie, Mere-Wodajo, Eskinder Nega, G. Tefera Mamo, et al., of Fano. Abiy Ahmed’s drones are hunting Fano, yet is he sending TPLF/TPF or Samri fuel, food, weapons, intelligence, or backing them up on the front lines?

I am suggesting Abiy has made a mistake by sending his delegation to Pretoria. He was on the verge of burying TPLF, but he gave a lifeline to TPLF by sending his delegation to Pretoria. He was in good position to say this is an internal Ethiopian affair f … off to those who were determined to save TPLF, especially for some Americans.
