BREAKING: The U.S. Representative has defended Israel’s right to establish diplomatic ties with any sovereign entity, pointing to a "double standard" within the Council. The U.S. noted that while several members recently recognized a Palestinian state without an emergency session, this meeting was convened immediately.
Despite this defense of Israel, the U.S. clarified that its own policy remains unchanged: Washington continues to respect the sovereignty and territorial integrity of the Federal Republic of Somalia.

Albeit temporarily, no one can prevent the people of Somaliland the right to statehood forever. Sooner or later, they will be independent. The best decision the Darood Jeberti of Mogadishu can do is to let them go peacefully.
Somalilanders are not Abeed slaves to be forced in chain with long dead Somalia. If Eritrea, Djibouti and South Sudan can be independent, what the fuuuck is the problem?

Yeah I saw that but it isn’t surprising Britain always stands with Somalia because they don’t want to be seen as a divider of the former Somali republic how ever. The Brit’s created the Somalia and Somaliland talks they believe if there is going to be divorce it should come from Somalia and Somaliland in talks how ever the talks have failed for 12 years no break through Somaliland insist on independence and recognition Somalia wants unity. No break through there how ever with israel recognition things have changed remember Britain was the colonial ruler of Somaliland Britain know the complexity of the region . There were activity members in the uk parliament that advocate for Somaliland recognition but the current British stand is to keep Somalia as it is today how ever tr USA didn’t condemn Israel recognition of Somaliland

Israeli Opposition Leader Rejects Recognition of Somaliland
The leader of Israel’s opposition has spoken out against the recognition of Somaliland, warning that such a move would create serious political and diplomatic complications for Israel. He stated that recognizing Somaliland would draw the country into unnecessary regional tensions and could have far-reaching consequences for Israel’s foreign relations.
The opposition leader is widely viewed as the politician expected to succeed Benjamin Netanyahu in the future.
Netanyahu bypassed Israel’s own government and security cabinet to recognize Somaliland.
Opposition leader @yairlapid says the move was made solely by the PM’s office, has triggered regional condemnation, and exposes Israel’s lack of a coherent foreign policy.

Report. IRAN and GAZA Dominate Netanyahu–Trump Talks as SOMALILAND Drops Down Agenda.
A source close to the discussions says Iran and the war in Gaza were at the centre of talks with US President Donald Trump, while Somaliland was not a real priority for Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu following a diplomatic pushback from the international community. The refusal by Turkeyand Saudi Arabia
was decisive.
________
The Northeast State Parliament has issued a FIRM & UNAMBIGUOUS CONDEMNATION of Netanyahu’s move to recognize Northwest Somalia (so-called separatist “somaliland”)
• No recognition.
• No fragmentation.
• No compromise on unity.
Somalia will never be divided - period!
Re: Former colonial master says no!
Yes ofcourse the Djiboutian state will for ever support Somalia unity its in our interest to do so . How ever because we have close. Kinship with Somaliland we don’t opppose their bid for statehood as the people of Djibouti and the people of Somaliland are basically the same people . There is no difference between us as long as Somaliland doesn’t give Ethiopia any sort of access to Ethiopia on their land we are oké with it . We support Somalia and Somaliland to hold talks on their future relations we hosted many of those talks before
Re: Former colonial master says no!
Somaliland suffered genocides, war crimes and crimes against humanity by the Ziad Barre dictatorship for over a decade.
Prior to assault by the illegitimate Republic of Somalia, Somaliland did all it can to rectify marginalizations, discriminations and fraud.
Somaliland withdrew from referendum, immediately after independence, due to irregularies by Italian Somalia. There never was the constitution of the Republic of Somalia signed by both. Put it simply, Somaliland was never constitutionally part of the Somalia Republic.
Somaliland got its independence from Britain first and campaigned for the indepedence the Italian Somalia, hoping the two Somalia will form one successful Somalia republic. Over and over again, time after time, Somaliland was screwed by Somalia.
Somaliland is firm. It tasted freedoms, indepedence, sovereignty, full-fledged democracy unmatched in Africa, law and order, no religious nationalists. Most of all, it has enjoyed peace for the past 30 years. It built itself from the ashes of genocides, war crimes and crimes against humanity.
Forget about it joining Somalia again. Somaliland should sue Somalia for war reparations.

Zemso emsamu,
So it is ok that others recognized your independence and it shouldn't be for Somaliland. A big emsam hypocrite.
The reason you leeches oppose Somaliland independence is to limit Ethiopia from port alternatives and we know that.
You will pay a heavy price for such evil behaviors. You are dying an agonizing death now and you behaviour speed up that process.

You cannot escape historical responsibility. The Eritrean people paid an enormous price under Haile Selassie and Mengistu Hailemariam—decades of war, suffering, and bloodshed. These are not fabrications; they are documented realities. Justice and accountability have been delayed, not erased. You shall pay dearly
Re: Former colonial master says no!
Opportunist Jeberti, Arab Abid Concubine dog, why are you suddenly "caring" and barking on behalf of Somalia? Let alone the the Arab Abid slave like you, who can not save his own bloody stinky azzz from the savage Arab Muslims in captivity, your Arab masters -- the savage Arab Muslim Egyptians can not prevent the independence of Somaliland. Sooner or later, they will be free.
The Somalis had already voted to side with Abiy Ahmed by rejecting Issaias AfeCherqi, and taking all the money and the military support and handing it to al Shabab.
Just to remind you what the Arab dogs brought to my young Eritrean brothers and sisters: Slavery under the savage Arab Muslims
