For decades, the Neo-colonial powers placed us Ethiopians at the fore front of the anti Eritrea campaign demonizing the country's pursuit of food security. Back then, we were incapable of seeing far into the future that we never anticipated USAID may come to a halt, forcing us to embrace the principles of food sufficiency we abhorred for political expedience, for so long.

Its good that we Ethiopians are finally waking up, but I wish it was our willingness to feed ourselves and not the circumstances surrounding USAID that led us to seek food sovereignty.

በፍጹም! የአለም የምግብ እርዳታ የቆመው አሁን ነው! ያለም የምግብ እርዳታ አሜሪካና አውሮፓ አለምን የሚቆጣጠሩበት ብልሃት ነው ። ድህነት ኢንዱስትሪ ነው ። የአቢይ መንግስት እስከነችግርም ቢሆን በምግብ ራስ ቻይነትና የምግብ ሉአላዊነት ላይ ትክክለኛ ራዕይ ያለው መንግስት ነው ። ውጤቱም እየታየ ነው! አሁን ኢትዮጵያዊያን እዚም እዛም ለስልጣን የሚያደርጉትን የማያልቅ መባከንን ጋብ አድርገው አላማ መር የሆነ አገርና ኢኮኖሚ ግምባታ ላይ ቢሰሩ ይሻላል ። This is all good.
