Tigray interim administration president Mr. Getachew Reda has stepped down.
The president has appointed Tsegay Gebretele Gebretekele G/Kristos as the administrator of the South East Zone of TPLF.
Signed by Mr. Getachew Reda August 14/2016 E. The letter that came out says that Tsegay Gebretekele should be entrusted with the benefits they deserve as the zone administrator and they should be entrusted to fulfill their responsibilities properly.
The new candidate Tsegay Gebretekele G/Aristos was previously the administrator of Enderta woreda.
It is remembered that Mrs. Lea was elected as TPLF executive a few days ago.
14 central committee members and central control commission who said "it is not legal" that TPLF did not recognize in the Ethiopian National Election Board, the vice chairman of the organization and the central control commission were among those who did not participate in the conference.

The president Mr. Getachew appointed as a member of the political bureau, Mrs. Lia Kassa Tekut is the fifth zone administrator to oppose Dr. Debretsion's approach.
Out of the 7 zone administrations in Tigray, five of them are leading against Dr. Debretsion's actions. Two zones, that are North West Zone, who were elected as political bureau members in the conference held by Tezelay Gebremedhin Mekele city, and Yitberek Amah and Elias Kahsay are leading as chief and deputy.
Are the remaining two zone administrators who support Dr. Debretsion's move still in their responsibilities? It's a question of many.
The chairman of TPLF Dr. Debretsion Gebremichael said a few days ago that TPLF can " assign its own people" to lead the temporary administration of Tigray.
