Every year for the last 27 long years, the IMF was churning out fake reports of "11% economic growth" for Ethiopia while Tigray rulers were borrowing more money from the IMF to enrich themselves, leaving the country's poor carrying the debt load. IMF's fake report was meant to numb the pain caused by higher cost of living, inflation and high rate of unemployment. The Ethiopian people were fed lies by the IMF that wanted to keep them shackled to debt, as debt is said to be the modern form of slavery.
