- The Tigray war was the brain child of Isaias and Amhara extremists. They exploited the difference between PP & TPLF to get support from Abiy to destroy Tigray. Hence, though Abiy is the prime responsible for the Tigray war as the leader of Ethiopia, he is not the strategic enemy of Tigray. However Isaias and Amhara extremists are the strategic enemies of Tigray and that has been proven with their objections to the TPLF/ Ethiopia government Peace Agreement.
- TPLF and PP could establish a tactical cooperation over the next three years and scale it up to strategic cooperation over the next 7 years. PP is also aware that Tigray is not it's strategic enemy and they are more than willing to bring back TPLF to be part of the Ethiopian government and benefit from TPLF's experience & capabilities to stabilize Ethiopia!
The way forward: TPLF has to speed up it's political dialogue with PP and deepen it's relationship!
