Nobody is begging Ethiopia. For Somalia, a complete withdrawal of Ethiopian forces would be far more beneficial than their continued presence. Ethiopia's involvement in Somalia is driven by its own interests, not out of concern for the Somali people or Somalia itself. We advocate for Ethiopia to adopt a hands-off policy and to stay out of Somali affairs. This is the only viable path forward for the reconstitution and rebuilding of Somalia.
