As Lesotho as Tigray province could be without Ethiopia ( even worse than Lesotho), Eritrea province too are a useless and lifeless entity without Ethiopia. Humanity does not need or beg for more evidences since the last 3 decades exposed the impossibility of Eritrea to become a viable nation. The only place where one can find the name Eritrea is on paper , not on the ground.
The travesty of the vision to weaken Ethiopia and take over the horn of Africa by creating or carving out tiny states such as Eritrea brought curse, mutiny, chaos, rebel dictatorship and exodus upon the people. All this is happening because the so-called Super powers and Violent Arabs tried the impossible of creating something (like Eritrea) that cannot breath and move as a viable country.

Later on, yes international actors played a role in the escalation of the of the ELF. It was during the cold War period, during the two ploar politics of communism and Imperialis. Both powers tried to escalate the situation in Eritrea rather help Ethiopia and ELF accommodate each other. They encouraged each to win against the other in a zero sum game.
Now, it's Eritreans who suffer; not those who encouraged them. Sad but pitiless!

I would rather call Italy's Sicily a country than Eritrea as a viable country
I guarantee you, if even left for 100 years, you would find Eritrea in the same state of sorry you see her now.

Dama,
You should take this into considerations: Poor's do not have the privilege to choose what to eat and who their leader would be. They take what is given to them - that was what happened in Eritrea/or Liberation Front. The West and Arab chose what Eritreans should do, not Eritreans. They pulled them a red card or a ticket to hell and misery. All the pretexts and blaming against Ethiopia is BS.

What an idiot!Eritrea Province
Will elephants become or be taken for cats by calling them cats!
You can hopelessly keep calling Eritrea a province, it won't affect the fact that everybody across the world knows perfectly well that Eritrea is an independent sovereign country, which, unlike your shithole, is not synonymous with famine in the minds of people around the globe.
Go get it back and put it back in your fuc'king fold, if you've got any balls.

FYI, Eritreans freed their country by the gun and not by begging.

Baboon Abere - keep crying boy, I can understand you.

Somaliwoman,
In real, but figurative terms, Eritrea is a mummified country locked in a wooden coffin - it is not even a paralyzed one, it is a dead one. You do no not know the definition of country. You cannot have a virtual county. If that were the case, the only country for you thugs is Mereja Forum.

Eritrea has secured its independence, and this has proven beneficial for the nation. It has achieved economic viability and has endured the harshest predicaments of sanctions. Eritrea has chosen to live aid-free. Conversely, while Ethiopia possesses potential, it is overpopulated and struggles to sustain its population. Its leaders primarily focus on soliciting more aid assistance, which raises questions about the country's viability. Eritrea, on the other hand, is rich in gold and other minerals. Should the country adopt an open market policy, the sky is the limit. Additionally, the vast majority of Eritreans support their nation. In Ethiopia, however, 80 percent of the population does not wish to be part of the ill-conceived empire established by Menelik.

Zack,
You are talking of what you dreamt for - not the reality deep in the core of the country. Ethiopia unlike the tiny carved out squatter states, is created on a rock solid foundation -unshakeable. True, the West and violent Arabs have been trying to create their own squatter states of Eritrea, Djibouti, Somalia - all of which literally are failed - cannot stand by themselves. If you call a person on ICU on life support is living, then you can call Eritrea & Somalia are countries - literally they are not. These are brain dead, but made artificially breathing by the will of the NGO (UN) and the aspirant West that wants to weaken Ethiopia, the gate-way of Africa and her nuggets.
If Ethiopia were as weak as your wish, it would have been failed like Eritrea, South Sudan, or Somalia decades ago - because that was the dream of the so-called violent Arabs and the West. Let me tell you the truth, Ethiopians can come as one anytime if say, any tiny West or Arab squatter states. I hope it will not far that Ethiopia will officially claim Djibouti and Assab are her sovereign lands and cleanse the rats who took squatter settlements illegally. I will support and do my share my duty to fund that. It is a long over due for Ethiopia to do so. Note: I do not believe in any NGO's such as UN or AU - or in any other country to do the business of another country. If Russia did take over Crimea, Ethiopia has more legal and natural right to tack back what is stolen from her by thieves and fraudsters. We do not recognize fraud and squatters.

Agreed. That indepence boohaha rather dug their graves deeper. It's not the fault of the innocent Eritrean folks. The grave diggers are the psychotic maniacs like Isanass.
I strongly believe Eritreans love Ethiopia, willing to accommodate some inconveniences for a life game of give-and-take.
I am hopeful, some day we will say "Let bygones be bygones". I envision one day Eritrean hands stretch out to hug me.

That is so true. What comes for evils mistook innocents. The sin of Shabia is not only consuming Shabia rats, but also consuming ordinary Eritrean province people.ለሃጥዐን የመጣ ለጻድቃን ይተርፋል ወይም የደረቅ ባጠግብ እርጥቡ ይነዳል እንድሉ። The quickest remedy is the demise of Shabia, Woyane and OLF. Nothing short of this cures the illness. That being the fact, the natural and universal truth is ( regardless of these disease carrier rats of Shabia, Woyane, OLF), Eritrea without Ethiopia is a fish without water.
You heard of Eritrea exporting coffee
Is she exporting coffee now?!

Abere, don't loose hope on Eritrea. Once Shabya old guards expire, very soon, the country will become interesting to many. It can turn into a new investment destination. I, for one, would like to retire there drinking their cappuccino and eating their pizza. I'm sure most of them speak Amharic as I can tell from this forum, so I won't have language problem.

Educator,
It is not that I do not give up on Eritrea province, it is the fact Eritrea will never ever stand on its feet and will never being a cause of trouble, instability and violence for Ethiopia. Sine Eritrea is a non-viable territory on its own, it will keep becoming a headache to Ethiopia. It has been a contagious infection for the last 3 decades and it will remain so. Healing the infection is only possible by removing Shabia there, OLF and Woyane in Ethiopia.
I like your attitude in investing there sometime when it becomes an integral part of Ethiopia, and enjoy cappuccino. If this happens anytime soon, and if you are single too, you will find love, as the Nigerians do
