"Eritrea a hidden gem that defies gloomy narratives."

Post by ZEMEN » 31 May 2024, 08:55

"Eritrea struck me as a nation that has defied the odds and carved its own path towards progress and self-determination. Here, genuine independence isn't just a lofty ideal but a lived reality"

"...In this country, you will find a high degree of equitable distribution of both genders in almost every sector of society, a feat only achieved by few societies in the world, let alone in the African continent."

VALUES MEET LAW
This dialogue was centred on the essence of Eritrean values that have been the cornerstone of social cohesion and communal activities for centuries. These values, which have guided the nation through its struggle for independence, are now being considered for integration into the legal framework to promote sustainable development.
This is it. If you are wondering why the continent of Africa is the way it is, then consider the above statement in the quote. Once Africa gained its independence, almost all countries continued to practice the law of the colonizers they set for them while disregarding their own organic values. This the biggest reason for the demise of Africa. The Law has to meet the values of the people. I really do appreciate for the Eritreans to understand and implement the two ingredients of peaceful coexistence. For instance, people say that begging is not the value of the Eritrean people and then self-reliance is the law of the land, in this case value met the law. That is the reason self-reliance worked in Eritrea but miserably failed elsewhere in Africa.

In my opinion, I rather people who are infected with African mentality leave the country so that the country can move on. Besides, they left the country what have they gained? addicted to drugs, alcohol, depression, suicide, prison, what have they gained? I can tell you this with an absolute conviction that Africa is the future.
