I can feel the concern and discomfort that Ethiopians may feel in this situation (having untrustworthy government that has no idea what it is doing). But, I still don't understand how some if not all totally lack this feeling for their close neighbor countries is incomprehensible to me.

It's like telling an internet scammer that you don't understand their lack of feeling for the people they scamming. They've been surviving on scamming.
Similarly, Ethiopia has been surviving on deception, greed, untrustworthiness, fraudulence, falsehood, fabrications, and kissing ar'se.
And when it comes to deceiving their neighbours to Ethiopia's advantage albeit it's as fraudulent and dishonest as it can get, they're all on the same page. Ethiopians have perfected the art of being double-faced.
