What we are giving you is a Platform to flex your muscles. 20 KM coastline to play with your New found toys you cand build your shipyards there for Naval purposes , we give you free bonus as well , you can use our military runway in Berbera if UAE agrees.

When it comes to commerce , we are not giving you free port , use your common sense what are we benefiting if we give you free port in direct competition with our own port . Instead we can give a share in berbera port and it's free zone, in exchange of Equal share of your airlines. We also want your energy from GERD charging us the same rate you charge in your country .

Ethiopia had 19 percent share in the Somaliland port of berbera So every 100 dollar berbera port makes it would have gotten 19 dollar which isnt bad because the port would have had a revenue close to half a billion dollars by 2025. But Ethiopia failled to meet the Financial requirement to get the 19 percent share they had to pay some money upfront for the investment But Abiye was broke and couldnt pay the investment and Somaliland took back its share back from Ethiopia
