The early Protestant believes and practices in Ethiopia pioneered by Mulu Wongel Church and others and preachers and singers like Tesfaye Gabisso, Dereje Kebede, Shewaye Damte , etc are long gone. That has now been replaced by the so-called prosperity gospel, which corrupts the Scriptures & uses God to solely gain material wealth. Their teachings portray our primary needs to be limited to money rather than forgiveness & righteousness. In short, it diminishes the glory of God & prepares a road map to 666.
