If he says Meles was wrong to give away Assab he should have said , Ethiopia could renegotiate it with Eritrea. In addition he ignored the historical facts that the last colonial map of Ethiopia was the East Africa Italy , in which Ethiopia could claim Eritrea and Somalia as part of its territory to use it as a negotiation point to secure acess to Red Sea and Indian Ocean . He should have also mentioned that all agreements with Italia in the 19th century became null and void when Italy invaded and confirmed Ethiopia just before the World War II.
