As far as I'm concerned, in my last comment, I was asking about the original creator of the musical and vocal rhythm and beats of the two songs posted by Abe Abraham, as apart from minor tweaks, their only difference seems to be their different lyrics, and that also other artists such as the ones in the video below have made use of these, and not about Hudeidi and this style of music in general, as I already said what I had to say in respect to this type of music.

I asked earlier about who created the above song and I was expecting at least Abe Abraham to help me on this, as he was the one who had posted the two songs above. I'm sure he felt embarrassed to tell me that the song was a Somali song - played by the old Somali man in the video (Hudeidi - RIP) in 1967.

Ali Birra, who loves Somalis and speaks Somali, sang this song too in Somali.

Genuine Ethiopians know very well that Eritreans played a big role in the development of the modern music in Ethiopia . One of them was a gentleman from Keren who spent his last days in America. May Allah have mercy on his soul.

Eritrea has always been a centre of religion and cultural exchange. Remember Ezana was baptised in Debre-Sina, Eritrea. If you talk about early Islam you can not pass without mentioning Eritrea and BaHre-Negasi.
