What is Seyoum Teshome saying?

Insurrection is a capital crime, a treason. We went to war with TPLF to subdue insurrection, they wanted to usurp power by means of violence, now TPLF accepted it was wrong.

Shane also wanted to usurp power and we went to war with it as well, paying high sacrifices, thousands lost their life in this war. Now Shane also accepted to lay down its arms and come to the negotiation table, admitted it is wrong to aspire usurping power by means of violence.

Fano wants to usurp power by means of violence, what is the difference to the former two here? Is it not insurrection, if not what then? Is this entity trying to use a peaceful political means to come to power?

Seyoum Teshome needs to have an answer here, unless he also subscribed to the view of the camp which states "some are more equal than others". In this case he too wants to rewind the changes of the last over 50 years, instead of calling for a progress.

My way or the high-way view is the dogma of the past. Seyoum Teshome opted to ask for a double standard, while those elected to the office to adminster the affairs of the people are saying there will be no such a double standard.

There is no way that we can tolerate twin sources of monopoly of power in one country, unless something is inherently twisted in the heads of those who are demanding for a double standard.
