General Seare Mekonen memorial park and monument have been inaugurated.
Former FDRE army chief general general Seare Mekonen memorial park and statue was inaugurated in Addis Ababa today.
Addis Ababa city mayor Adanech Abebe, defence minister Dr. Abraham Belay, general officers, federal and Addis Ababa City Administration officials, general Seare Mekonen's family and other guests were present at the inauguration.
According to the EZA report, the statue has been built in a park named after them in Addis Ababa, Bole Rwanda in a way that is worthy of their honor.
It has been mentioned that the former chief commander of the FDRE army, General Seare Mekonen was a patriotic Ethiopian.

It's simple, just like general samora yunis, general seare also refused to attack ethiopia & z northern command that terrorist-tplf ordered him to do & side with them against ethiopia and when he refused they killed him & they blamed it on another terrorist tplf general. This is typical terrorist-tplf drama, they also killed hayelom araya because he refused to join or abide by the order of terrorist-tplf to wage war against my Eritrea and years later they also killed his wife. Some ppl r speculating that galla agame abiy killed him, but that's not true, why would he kill him when he was standing and helping him until the last end, the proof is you can see general bacha debele honoring him.

"Sam Ebalalehu": I believe for a couple of reasons why the ethiopian government is silent or not pointing fingers @ terrorist-tplf, first it's scared from usa and second it wants to silence terrorist-tplf & focus on much bigger enemy which is egypt. Third it wants to calm down ethiopia's internal problems by closing down the terrorist-tplf drama. I believe by erecting this statue the ethiopian goverment is hitting 2 birds with 1 stone, first it's telling terrorist-tplf that it will never forget general seare & it also knows very well who killed general seare and second it will take the appropriate actions when the appropriate comes.
