Let’s face the truth here. With all the ethnicity problem Ethiopia has it will never get a leader which unites them like Mengistu and thus if Ethiopia doesn’t disintegrate it will be miserable country to lead by any future potential leader including the current one. The same can be said about woyane. What did woyane was first unlike Mengistu who was an equal dictator to all, woyane was favoring its own funfunat aliet agames over the rest of the Ethio ethnic group and of course its demise was also like Mengistu by trying to fu’ck with Eritrea.
So, Ethiopia needs a very strong ‘DICTATOR’ leader who can govern all the ethnic group equally and most of all who respects his neighbors specially Eritrea.
This freaking free speech, constitution, fake democracy doesn’t work in Africa, specially to the most uneducated (over 85% illiterate) Ethiopia.

Ethiopia literacy rate for 2017 was 51.77%
Ethiopia literacy rate for 2007 was 39.00%
Ethiopia literacy rate for 2005 was 29.82%

Literacy 52% meaning 48% are Illiterate not 85%

When it comes to being a Dictator Abiy gets C+ What do you want more from him? to go kill some journalists and some people that don't feel represented and go shoot them at Adebabay he already cut telephone lines and internet access but that did not change anything? he has failed to do his job on securing Ethiopia in fact I don't think he cares much about some parts of Ethiopia! so the best he can do is either go to war or have peaceful discussion.

You are talking to cigar your enemy eko, there is a reason why he said Mengistu. Mengistu DID NOT unite Ethiopians. Instead he turned the people into mine-sweepers and cannon fodder in a war that served no purpose nor Ethiopian national interest. He was an equal opportunity murderer; a coward who abandoned his soldiers and fled the country when he faced an imminent threat to his power. In short, Mengistu was an Amharic-speaking Agame!
