The President of Eritrea may come to St. Petersburg for the Russia-Africa summit

A Russia-Africa summit is scheduled to be held in St. Petersburg, in July 2023. One of the participants in the event may be the President of Eritrea, Isaias Afeworki. This was told by the country's ambassador to the Russian Federation, Petros Tseggai.

Petros Tseggai said, that he was trying to persuade the head of state to take part in the summit on the territory of the Russian Federation. He stated, that he would do everything to convince the President of Eritrea to take part in the event. However, in his opinion, to do it "is not easy."
It is known, that a delegation from Eritrea is scheduled to arrive in St. Petersburg. However, the composition of the participants remains unknown. Also not disclosed, is the format in which it will be presented.

የኤርትራ ሞከላከያ ሠራዊት የጁንታ አገር ዓድዋን ለቆ በመውጣቱ የትግራይ ህዝብ ጥልቅ ሃዘኔታ ተሰምቶታል።
