Tamrat Negera: Angus steak-loving Eritrean soldiers must decide whether to return home or seek asylum in Ethiopia.

There are just two alternatives available to the Eritrean soldiers: either they may return home, or they can seek refuge in Ethiopia, where they will be able to eat their beloved Angus steak

As things stand, the goat and sheep herders of Eritrea are in grave danger.

Farmers in Eritrea should be on the lookout for these former soldiers because, after they've reintegrated into society, they'll start butchering and devouring any animal that crosses their path.

Almaz,

Are you suggesting that members of the Eritrean armed forces should maintain their commitment to a vegan diet?

I suspect that Eri Luv was referring to ADES, which is the primary rationed meal for the Eritrean army. The Eritrean army is not herbivorous, as they consume meat on New Year's Day and Easter Sunday.

Antico, what do you think about making Kwanzaa and Hanukkah national holidays in Eritrea? To ensure that our troops are able to feast on ጎረድ ጎረድ at least four times a year.
